Homa
In private testing. Not in the App Store yet.

Your home, running on the sun.

Homa schedules your heat pump, plugs, lights and appliances from one calm app, and is built to follow your solar surplus. It asks before it changes anything, and it always puts things back.

From the makers of Go Dutchie and Baaju.

One app, the whole house

Overview shows what your home is doing now. Automations plan what it should do. Controls let you step in.

🌡

Heat pump schedules

Raise the room temperature or the leaving-water offset for a window, say 11:00 to 16:00, and let the sun pay for it.

☀️

Made for solar

Reads your HomeWizard P1 meter so Homa knows when you are sending power back to the grid. Solar-triggered automation is the next thing being built.

🔌

Plugs, lights, appliances

Switch and dim things through SmartThings, with a Controls screen when you need it now.

Careful with your heat pump

A heat pump is not a light bulb. Homa treats its safety as a requirement.

It asks first

The first time a schedule would touch your unit, you say yes. Until then nothing changes.

It remembers

Before a window starts, Homa notes your current settings.

It puts things back

When the window ends, or you cancel, your own settings return, with retries if the cloud is slow.

It protects the compressor

Minimum run and off times, and values kept inside what the unit allows, so it is never switched on and off in quick bursts.

Works with what you have

Homa connects to services you already use. You sign in on each provider's own page, and Homa never shows your login to the phone.
